Sucking up to the Medici family

Ah... Machiavelli's "The Prince."

Splendid book. I enjoy the idea of teaching a ruler how to optimize his power through trickery and deceit, coupled in with terror. All to suck up to him in order to get a "good" life.

                   I've been
    thinking.
                                                 Who
       Are
                they?

"You know what they do in the Philippines?" he asked, "Instead of character assassination, candidates do physical assassination to get rid of their opponents. This is true especially in the bad neighborhoods."

My dad makes me laugh.
